If you have not replaced the stock pedals on your bike since you purchased it, you have come to the right place. The pedals that come stock on a new bike are generally test pedals, designed to be test ridden only. You will find that stock pedals have a fair amount of resistance when spinning. Or even a grinding & gravelly feel to them underfoot. This is common in pedals that do not have sealed bearings.
